#1) My Most Successful Artwork would be my leaf. It was a nature theme. What I really like about it the different kinds of green i added on to the small leafs inside the big leaf. I added like light green, dark green medium green, all kinds of green.
#2) I felt like I overcame the most obstacles was my rock for Brock. Doing the rock was something I made for my friend who passed away this summer. Doing this rock i wanted it to look real so I added color with coffee which came out really good. I added some words on the rock which i glazed them red , that was his favorite color. I had never used coffee but it came out great. I leaned how to make it dark if i wanted to and it actually came out to look like a real rock
#3) I think my rock and my leaf are what show I grown as an artist. While I did this two projects I learned new things and i tried new media and went more out to think about what I want to do and how I wanted to do it. For the rock I though about it why I wanted to do it, I wanted it to look real. For the leaf I wanted to show the different kinds of green and and how it not just one color.
#4) This semester we work on our own paced and chose our own theme for classes which I think its a really great idea. Working on our own paced don't put pressured to finish at a certain time. It gives me a choose of what the theme I want it to be. Sometimes I want to do a certain thing for someone or a holiday and it give you a choice to do what you want. For example I did a sphere and added snowflakes so it can be a christmas or winter theme. Last year when we would work all together it was also good because I would learn new things and see other students work and ideas which would help me out a lot. But this semester is good working on our own. We see all different work.
